I haven’t had an easy go of it since I was born. After losing my mum, and becoming an orphaned joey, I was all alone, scared, feeling unwell, and in a lot of pain.
Thankfully, I was lucky enough to receive treatment from the wonderful vet team at Currumbin Wildlife Hospital (and I even got to enjoy some tasty gum leaves brought to me fresh every day!)
Being in the wrong place at the wrong time nearly cost me my life. I was trying to cross a busy highway when I was hit by a car, which meant I suffered major abdominal trauma.
It was a terrifying experience, but luckily I was brought to Currumbin Wildlife Hospital where the team gave me life-saving surgery.
